Educator Fellows Cohort

JLI Celebrates its 2021-2022 Cohort
Nineteen secondary teachers in Oregon make up our very first cohort of JLI Educator Fellows. Amid a school year like no other, they are successfully transforming their English language arts classrooms with journalistic learning techniques, helping to build relevant and effective communication skills in more than 1,200 students.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the 2021-2022 JLI Fellows and support them this year as they incorporate Effective Communicators practices into their instruction and create new and exciting learning experiences for their students,” said Ed Madison, PhD., Executive Director of the Journalistic Learning Initiative “This first cohort has shown incredible resilience during the pandemic and has surpassed our expectations with their enthusiasm and talent.”
